As Guitarist and Songwriter for Cairo Stand with his brother Toby, James has published two albums and a single independently. He is also responsible for the technical coordination of the many Music for Humans/Cairo Stand events that occur annually. As a Guitarist/Producer/Engineer, James has performed and recorded with many New England musicians. In 1989, James organized and mounted a multi-venue Regional Original Music tour that featured three local acts and worked across three states. With Toby and their pal Jackson, James pulled off a three-week "highways and byways" tour of the United States in 1994, including performances in Chicago, in the parking lot of the Grand Ol' Opry, and in a wheat field in Nebraska. Along the way, James has become a source for inspiration and technical knowhow to many aspiring musicians.
